What You Want to Know: Small, high quality, and inexpensive neighborhood shop within ten minutes walking distance of Tenleytown and Friendship Heights. The latte art is excellent, and the direct trade coffee is fruity and tasty.

The wifi is FREE, easy to connect to, and I even streamed Netflix for a period of time!

Quality of Beverages and Food: 🍴🍴🍴🍴

Whether you order the Nutella latte or the house blend, the pastries or the Korean quesadilla, there is something for everyone–even the non-coffee drinker. With hints of fruit, the direct-trade coffee satisfies your taste and moral palette. Watch out for the sweet stuff, like the Nutella latte and white mocha, if you prefer a more bitter taste, though!

Overall Rating: ☕️☕️☕️☕️

Coffee Nature is what some would call a “hole in the wall,” a place with a “mom and pop vibe,” an “aesthetic” and “home-like” shop in which you want to sit and stay for awhile rather than rush in and out of. This appeal is created through the bright green walls with for-sale art hanging upon them and it’s live music in the evenings. For some, the size of the shop may feel uncomfortable, and the bathroom subpar, with lights that turned off without any notice. Despite the name “Coffee Nature,” the emphasis was surprisingly not on coffee, but the shop’s alternative drinks and Korean food.

Located between Tenleytown and Friendship Heights, Coffee Nature’s friendly atmosphere is fitting for its proximity to the local neighborhood, inviting people of all ages, whether you’re by yourself or in a group/family. And don’t forget about the amazing, highly noted latte art which will brighten your day and every one of your snapchat friends’ days when you post it on your story– it’s a must! However adorable the bunny latte art is, prepare for close spaces and an odd variety of foods and beverages.

Located on the corner of Fessenden Street and Wisconsin Avenue (4224 Fessenden St NW Washington, DC), preferably during nice weather.
