Espresso Royale is a midwestern coffee chain that spans in four different states (Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan). All the locations are in college towns and are super popular for students and townies alike to hang out and do work. Despite the fact that it’s a chain, each has its own vibe that is distinctly different!

Wifi is super easy to connect to and is 100% free with no purchase necessary. Dependable and reliable for getting work done #lit
Quality of Beverages and Food: 🍴🍴🍴🍴
Beverages and food are amazing. Super wide variety of different types of coffee and teas that make going in each time a completely different experience. My personal favorite is the Chai Tea Latte. Super fresh and not as sugary/ fake as the one you can get at Starbucks. Variety of food too that ranges from things like yogurt parfaits to homemade pastries to sandwiches and paninis. Fresh and cheap food to go with even better coffee and tea!

The overall aesthetic is super ~chill~ and ~hip~ as the cool kids would say. The interior is filled with tons of oversized and overstuffed chairs and couches that are perfect for sinking down into with a hot drink. They also have a fireplace that adds an extra amount of coziness on especially cold days. The building itself is older with beautiful architecture inside and out. The high ceilings and large windows add space and bring in lots of natural light. Above the coffee shop, there are apartments which house college students and help add to the overall vibe and aesthetic. I had a fantastic experience, yet again. The environment is super welcoming which makes doing dreadful things like homework more appealing. I love going here when I’m home to either get work done or catch up with friends! It’s a great place to grab a coffee to go or to just sit and people watch. Drinks are not overpriced which makes getting your caffeine fix for cheap a blessing in disguise.
