What You Want to Know:
Located on 5035 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington DC right next to Politics and Prose, Little Red Fox is instantly noticeable. With no more than four bus stops less than a minute away; Little Red Fox is in a very convenient spot. When calculating your budget, don’t get scared, it’s a pretty affordable place. With less than twenty dollars, one can go enjoy a good meal with a refreshment. The only bad part of the place is its size; it’s not that big. When I went to the Little Red Fox, I decided to venture at an early time, around 8:30 A.M. and still couldn’t find a spot for myself. But that part of the charm, so it balances out.
Connection was good and easily accessible but a little bit slow.
Quality of Beverages and Food: 🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴
Overall it’s a great place to get food and enjoy a good beverage. Besides being organic, the food and beverages are all fresh and change every week according to their menu. Also, Little Red Fox offers all three meals ranging with dishes from a Quinoa with Dried Figs, Curry, Garbanzo Beans, Peas, Mint and Local Pea Shoots to a Fancy Grilled Cheese. Due to their size and style, one can notice that everything made in Little Red Fox is made with incredible detail and precision, reflecting their work ethic and environment.
Overall Rating: ☕️☕️☕️☕️
The Little Red Fox is a great place. It’s easily one of my favorite coffee shops around the DC area. I enjoyed it so much because Little Red Fox has a memorable character. The food, service and environment all compliment the ambiance which the owners try to install. When it comes to their coffee, Little Red Fox only gets their coffee from one source at a time, maintaining a constant quality in each brew. Little Red Fox’s roasters include Ceremony in Annapolis, Blanchard in Richmond, ReAnimator in Philadelphia, Four Barrel in San Francisco and Rare Bird in Falls Church, all committed to fair-trade. This is the kind of coffee shop where people tend to venture in a quest for food rather than anything else. If you’re going to Little Red Fox you’re most likely to go to grab something to eat and spend more than 45 minutes there.
