Filter Coffeehouse and Espresso Bar

Strap in, because this bicycle-themed coffee shop will offer an interesting ride. Its chameleon decor of exposed brick, bird portraits, and a bright orange wall will confuse you at first, but the real coherence is in their fresh coffee and happy customers. When visiting Filter Coffeehouse and Espresso Bar, get ready to disconnect from the world, make new friends, and enjoy your cup of Joe.

Busboys & Poets

Large, high quality, medium expensive a walking distance from public transportation. It might be a little scary to roam around at night but it is definitely worth the experience. Don’t miss their brunch!

Coffee Nature

Small, high quality, and inexpensive neighborhood shop within ten minutes walking distance of Tenleytown and Friendship Heights. The latte art is excellent, and the direct trade coffee is fruity and tasty.

Emissary

Cute and chill ambiance, but mediocre coffee. Go their if you’re looking to take a cute or β€œartsy” instagram, but not for the quality of their beverages.

Dean & Deluca

Overpriced and poor tasting coffee. The tea is nice and hot with various flavors offered. Good wifi for sitting alone but it is impossible to enjoy the coffee without something to do.
